Free eye care for those who qualify
If you find it difficult to leave your home unaccompanied due to a physical or mental illness or disability, you may be entitled to a free NHS-funded domiciliary eye test. We handle all the NHS paperwork — you simply book and we come to you.
Dedicated visiting service for residential settings
We work closely with care homes, nursing homes and supported living facilities across Yorkshire to provide regular, scheduled eye care clinics on-site. Our team is experienced in working with residents who have dementia, complex needs or communication difficulties.
Specialist support for significant sight loss
For patients with significant sight loss that cannot be fully corrected with standard glasses, our low vision specialists provide detailed assessments and recommend a range of aids and strategies to help maximise remaining vision and maintain independence.
NHS Eligibility
You may qualify if you cannot leave home unaccompanied due to physical or mental illness or disability — including mobility problems, severe anxiety, dementia or chronic illness.

You qualify if you are unable to leave your home unaccompanied due to a physical or mental illness or disability. This includes many elderly patients, those with mobility issues, severe anxiety or complex care needs. If you are unsure, contact us and we will advise you.
A standard eye test takes around 30–45 minutes. If you also want to choose new glasses, allow a little extra time. We never rush — we take as long as needed to ensure you receive thorough, unhurried care.
We cover Dewsbury, Batley, Wakefield, Leeds, Bradford, Huddersfield, Castleford, Pontefract, Morley, Ossett, Mirfield and surrounding areas across West and South Yorkshire.
No referral is needed. You can book directly with us. If we identify any clinical concerns during your eye test, we will write to your GP or refer you to an NHS ophthalmologist on your behalf.
